What does the start of a lung cancer journey look like? Fredrik Johansson is a lung cancer patient advocate from Sweden. He was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer when he was 35 a few days after running a marathon. He is now an advocate and a member of the ESMO Patient Advocacy Working Group. In this interview, recorded at ESMO 2017 in Madrid, he explains his cancer journey and the challenges of patients around Europe.

The interview is part of an educational program by the Patient Empowerment Foundation (PEF). We thank AstraZeneca for their support.
